1950’s PARKA SHELL M-1951
This is a genuine U.S. military M-51 Mod coat. The liner is also included.
The M-51 is the predecessor to the M-65 fishtail parka, and is a popular Mod coat with high fashionability. It has a generous width, and a fishtail silhouette where the hem of the back is longer than the front, but you can flatten the back by buttoning it up, so adjust it depending on your outfit. The number of M-65s has decreased dramatically year by year and the price has soared, but the M-51 is, of course, already in a state of depletion.
The zip is made of aluminum. CROWN zip.
The fabric is cotton poplin olive drab.
